| A Moment For New Orleans |
Unfortunately, 2025 had a very tragic beginning in New Orleans.
Fourteen people (fifteen if you include the driver) lost their lives in the early morning hours of January 1, 2025 when a pickup truck was driven into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans' French Quarter. More than thirty people were injured, including police officers.
To the families and friends of the victims of this horrific attack, the survivors, their families and friends, and the city of New Orleans, know that the world grieves with you for the loved ones you lost, and is with you as you begin the process of healing while honoring those who you've lost.
The Mayfair Witches Parlor is committed to doing anything it possibly can to help. On the original Mayfair Witches Parlor, you will find a link to the fund set up through the Greater New Orleans Foundation to aid survivors and victims of this attack that was provided in yesterday's press conference update. For those who might have any information that will aid the investigation into this attack, the Parlor has provided the contact telephone number and link for the FBI's tip lines.
